Manchester United to ‘completely part ways’ with Sancho Offering 70 billion won in transfer fee to Dortmund

Manchester United (Man U) of the English professional soccer team is 'completely parting ways' with Jadon Sancho, who

was loaned to Borussia Dortmund (Germany) amidst turmoil last winter.

The BBC reported on the 10th (Korean time) that Manchester United offered 40 million pounds (approximately 70.2

billion won) to Dortmund for Sancho.

England international Sancho, who made his professional debut in Dortmund, wore the Manchester United uniform in

2021 for a transfer fee of 73 million pounds (about 128 billion won).

Sancho has not performed as well as expected at Manchester United. While he scored double-digit goals in official matches

every season at Dortmund, he only scored 5 goals in the 2021-2022 season and 7 goals in the 2022-2023 season at

Manchester 안전 United.

The relationship with the club also deteriorated during the 2023-2024 season.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag left Sancho out of the squad for the fourth round of the regular season, saying

he "lacked training."

Sancho then posted a 'rebuttal' on social media. He wrote, "I trained very well this week. There are other reasons why I

wasn't called up for the game. I've been a scapegoat for a long time."

The club demanded an apology from Sancho, but he refused and was eventually kicked out of the first team.

Sancho eventually returned to Dortmund on loan ahead of the second half of last season.

Dortmund are hoping Sancho will stay with them next season.

However, rather than a complete transfer, I would prefer to continue the relationship by signing another rental contract.

Manchester United must sell Sancho in order to minimize transfer restrictions within the framework of Financial Fair Play

(FFP) regulations, so Sancho's destination is expected to vary depending on the outcome of negotiations between the two

clubs.

In addition to Dortmund, Italian club Juventus is also said to be interested in recruiting Sancho.

Sancho's contract with Manchester United runs until 2026 with two years remaining.
